Dan Schlossberg
Dan Schlossberg is an American sportswriter and author known for his focus on baseball. Over the course of his career, he has written more than 40 books on the sport and has contributed to various publications. Dan’s love for baseball and writing started early. In high school he created his own magazine and later when at Syracuse University, he served as associate sports editor of The Daily Orange.
His work covers a broad range of baseball topics. His books include biographies, team histories, writings on baseball's impact on popular culture and travel guides for baseball fans. One of his most well-known books is "The Baseball Catalog," which has been updated and reissued more than a dozen times.
In addition to his written work, Dan has worked in broadcasting creating, producing and hosting several podcasts including "BallTalk," a syndicated baseball radio talk show. He is also a frequent guest on other sports talk shows. Dan is a member of the Internet Baseball Writers' Association of America, has served as a sports editor for the Associated Press (AP) and has contributed to USA Today, Baseball Digest, forbes.com, and many other online sites and print publications.
